Welcome to the Bedford Ballet School
Founded by Karen Lowe, the school offers a fun but structured introduction to the world of ballet for children aged 15 months through to more formal RAD syllabus classes.
There is a strong emphasis on theatrical performance and the children are encouraged to enhance and explore their dance and musicality. Each class is taught in a stimulating but instructive manor.
Karen has huge experience in the ballet world and remains the Principal of the highly regarded “Kensington Ballet school” which caters for children in the demanding environment of West London. She now brings her dedicated teaching and experience to Bedford where she moved with her family nearly 10 years ago.
Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus classes
Our RAD ballet classes cater for children aged from 5 years and enable the children to constantly improve their ballet technique and expression through regular graded exams.
Uniforms
Our youngest ballerinas explore their first ballet steps in beautiful pastel pink uniforms.
Our older RAD students take classes wearing RAD approved Lilac uniforms.

Pre-School Ballet
Our stimulating “Mum’s and babies’ classes provide the perfect start to your child’s ballet journey. Catering for toddlers aged from 15 months, these fun but structured classes help children develop the confidence to explore their artistic and expressive personalities whilst enhancing their physical co-ordination and capabilities.
